Leslie Mateo was awarded a 2019 Gilliam Fellowship from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. This award recognizes Leslie’s amazing work, her passion for supporting underrepresented minorities in science, and her leadership potential as a future PI. Congratulations, Leslie!
