• post-doc symposium talks: 4:15 – 6:00 pm

Chromatin in situs

• wash out probes, prep for imaging: 3:00 pm
• imaging on STORM4
• branched the project2 into chromatin branch to get daxwriters
• updated daxwriters to 60 integration for beads
• need to commit changes still.

image observations

• spots nice and bright (especially for 5 kb)
• background actually extremely high in STORM, should try lower conc.

• new paper from Lee … McAlpine on copy number variation in Genome Biology
  • map copy number fluctuations across the genome at 1kb resolution
  • should align this back for the regions we have data for.
