- discuss differences in noise regulation from bacteria through mammalian cells and reasons for these different regimes.
- discussed repressor vs. activator noise, better to have the OFF regime exist at high concentration of regulatory factor than at low concentration.

STORM
- finish O/N imaging of bxc sample-1
- start transfer data
- set up analysis on Cajal
- 488 analysis is going to take weeks at current setting…
- set up new O/N imaging of bxc sample-3 (no sample 2)
- observations: good contrast in conventional images, high 405 excitability, switching and brightness look sub-par. Glox issue? imaging too deep?
- Beads do not seem to be sticking well to cells? Not sure what’s going on… very few beads in same z-plane as image.
