STORM 3 setup notes
- 561 line: Com 8, up to 100 mW at detector when running at 300 mW at laser. Controlled by AOTF
- 656 red line. Power switch on tabel, modulated by AOTF. up 100 mW at detector: mirrors behind waveguide is unaligned easily, tweak to correct power.
- Setup TIRF — electronic TIRF control through computer. Press >> 3x to TIRF for standard TIRF (20.660 at meter).
- IR takes 30+ seconds to warm up after triggering the ‘On’ switch in the computer interface in Hal software. Turn on early for ease of operation.
